Elk Island Lodge has a 4200 foot long runway made from the crushed rock taken from the gold mine site on Elk Island in the early 1900's. The crushed rock is more of a powder now so it will not damage props and it does not get too soft for taking off or landing. We have a fleet of brand new fishing boats for your use. There are 20, 18 foot boats equipped with 40 HP Mercury outboards.
The owners of Bolton Lake Lodge and Outposts (Brian and Trevor Dick) bought Elk Island Lodge a few months before the 2000 season. We have rebuilt the main lodge, with a new dining room, new conference center, new games room, new deck, and an incredible view of one of the best fly - in fishing lakes in Manitoba.


Elk Island Lodge on God's Lake, in Northern Manitoba, Canada is a remote fly in fishing lodge that has fantastic fishing for Northern Pike, Walleye, Lake Trout and Brook Trout. Our resort has a bar, a tackle shop, a pool table, a dining room and a fireside lounging area for after dinner drinks. Our trophy fishing is surpassed by no other lake in Manitoba because our experienced, friendly guides take you to the best spots on the lake. They are also familiar with the famous God's River and Brook Trout fishing techniques.
