For those of you who just want to come and relax, we have a beautiful beach with a water slide for the kids, a log sauna, paddle boats, canoes, and many other interesting things to do and see. At certain times of the year, the berry picking is excellent, with blueberries being particularly abundant. For the bird watchers there is a wide variety of not-so-common species such as Bald Eagles, Ospreys, Blue Herons, Loons (with their haunting call) and many other photo opportunities.

Kenora, just a 10 minute drive from our camp, has all of the modern amenities for you to enjoy. Two 18-hole golf courses, a gambling casino, a new museum, paper mill tours, dinner boat cruises, airplane rides, murals, ample shopping opportunities, and a wide variety of special events.

Rushing River Provincial Park is also just a short distance from our camp and widely known for its natural beauty, with its cascading waterfalls and many nature trails along which you can experience first hand the rugged beauty of the North.

For those of you who are interested in hunting, we offer a fall Black Bear hunt for either bow or firearms hunters. Our success rate for the guided hunt is near 100%.

Redden's Camp has one of the largest Black Bear populations you will find anywhere and we take a good percentage of large bears. For our bear hunters we have several large areas in which we hunt and at all locations we have exclusive rights for our guests. We also offer a wide variety of other hunting opportunities, including Moose, Dear, Waterfowl, and Game Birds. At certain times of the year the fishing and hunting can be combined. A Fall Muskie fishing trip which could include some Duck hunting, would make a great holiday for the outdoor enthusiast.


Redden's Camp and trailer park is located on Longbow Lake, 9 miles east of the town of Kenora on the Trans Canada Highway #17 in Northwestern Ontario.

We have fully modern housekeeping cottages and full hookup trailer sites. Our store offers a wide variety of souvenirs, groceries, fishing tackle, bait, ice, licenses, service station, post office, liquor sales, beer sales, and a Laundromat.

We cater to all types of fishermen from the novice to the pro. We can get you started on your own with a map pinpointing all the hot spots, or if you wish, we can arrange for a guided trip so you can learn firsthand how and where to go plus enjoy a delicious fresh fish shore lunch.

For the more adventurous we have Outpost camps on Dryberry Lake, and Big Island on Lake of the Woods. Dryberry Lake is renowned for its trophy Muskie and lake trout fishing, while Big Island sits right in the heart of the best Muskie fishing on Lake of the Woods, with excellent Walleye fishing nearby.
