Monstrous walleye come down from the sprawling waters of lake Winnipeg to inhabit these rivers in the fall. Locals call these fish "Greenbacks" because of an irridescent green colour un-matched elsewhere in the walleye world. Most significant to the visiting angler is that these are "North American class" walleye available in excellent numbers.

Also worth considering (in terms of season - Spring) are some of the rivers running into lake Manitoba. There's also the English river system in NW Ontario during the summer ...Yup... big walleye aren't only caught in the "Fall" up here in Manitoba/NW Ontario. You've got some options too. Come up with your own boat and receive some orientation as to where to fish or we'll supply what you need to get the job done.
